Let Language Happen!

Your AIM: Let It Happen!
This week, I invite you to take 18 minutes to listen to this young boy with autism speak about his experience of learning to talk. He is a bright and animated young boy who shares some good ‘tips’.
In particular, he highlights that ‘spirituality’ (his Jewish faith) has been very important for him, and has brought happiness. In ThriveGuide words, a positive attitude makes a positive difference.
He also underscores the importance of being patient, providing time for a child with autism to process and to respond. You may also have already seen the benefits of “pausing” and giving lots of processing time when you interact with your child.
What stands out to you about Benji’s insights?
Have an exceptional week!
