Designed by renowned autism program director, award-winning author and Harvard graduate, Jonathan Alderson, Ed. M.

I spent 25 years gathering research-based autism education and therapy strategies, from hundreds of different programs, from around the world, and gained insights by listening to parents and spending thousands of hours with autistic children themselves.

Now, my mission is to pass on the best of these strategies, insights, and experiences.

My name is Jonathan Alderson, a Harvard graduate, author of the award-winning book Challenging the Myths of Autism, and founder of the world’s first customized online autism resource the ThriveGuide.

I can’t wait to help you and your family live your best life possible.

It’s Customized

Recommendations as unique as your child

Your autistic child is unique, like no other person on the planet, but many parents feel that their child’s therapy and education is not customized enough.

The ThriveGuide’s proprietary algorithm generates a highly customized development plan delivering not only the most important next steps but also prioritizes them so you know exactly where to begin.

It Empowers Parents

Feel clarity with specific directions within hours

While autism therapists, teachers, and specialists have a lot of advice to offer, parents often feel powerless and not well-listened to.

As the person who is most committed to your child and knows them better than anyone else, your views and ideas about your child matter. The ThriveGuide “listens” to parents to include your observations and insights in goal setting.

Skip the Waiting List

Practical strategies you can do from home

Thousands of autistic children are stuck on waiting lists for services. Months and even years of precious development time slip by. There’s no wait list for ThriveGuide.

Get started in the next 5 minutes for instant access to development goals specific to your child, with explanations and examples of the strategies and activities to achieve them.

Maximize Your Time and Budget

Determine your best next step

With 30 years of clinical front-line experience, we’ve learned that not only is it important to choose the programs and strategies that match your child’s unique strengths and challenges, but also to do them in the right order. While ABA therapy is the most evidence-based, your child may benefit most from a priming program beforehand or other complementary additions.

ThriveGuide doesn’t replace daily therapy or school, it maximizes and accelerates the benefits for the cost to get started of less than a single Speech Therapy session.

How It Works

Online Questionnaire Covering Multiple Areas of Development

Science-Based Scoring and Analysis

After creating a free account, parents first complete an in-depth intake questionnaire about various aspects of your child or loved one’s strengths and challenges, including language skills, social skills, independence skills, and repetitious and ritualized behaviors.

The insightful questions take into account the child’s physical health,  motivations, environment, and primary relationships.

The ThriveGuide begins with a powerful set of foundational concepts called The Essentials: how-to videos, with supporting scientific research, and activity ideas developed by Jonathan Alderson, autism specialist, award-winning author, and founder of the ThriveGuide. The Essentials are some of Jonathan’s best insights from 30 years of coaching parents and teachers for how to accelerate any child’s learning.
