Your AIM: Let It Happen!
This week, I invite you to listen to this young autistic boy speak about his experience of learning to talk. Benji is a bright and animated young boy who shares some good tips!
In particular, he highlights that ‘spirituality’ (his Jewish faith) has been very important for him, and has brought happiness.
In ThriveGuide words, a positive attitude makes a positive difference.
He also underscores the importance of being patient, providing time for a child with autism to process and to respond. You may also have already seen the benefits of “pausing” to give your child lots of processing time when you interact.
What stands out to you about Benji’s insights?
Have an exceptional week!
