Make the most out of
Your Physical Health Recommendations

What are my physical health recommendations?
Learning is not only a mental and cognitive process in the brain but is also a physical body process. Your child's physical health underlies absolutely all of their learning and behavior. So, in order to maximize learning, the physical body should be in optimal health. That's why your physical health recommendations are first in your ThriveGuide. To learn more, revisit the Essentials: 'Physical Health and Learning'.

Where can I find them?
Your physical health recommendations are at the top of your ThriveGuide recommendations, which you can return to from any screen by clicking ThriveGuide in the top navigation bar. On your Dashboard, your physical health recommendations have their own area so that you can work on your next recommendations while waiting for any appointments.

Your Best Next Steps
1. Read through all of your physical health recommendations and make a note of the professionals you need to contact. Save yourself time by listing all of the issues you want to address with each professional to avoid multiple visits.
2. Within each health recommendation, click on the 'Activities' tab to find our handy draft emails and other helpful strategies. Tip: Save the draft emails to your resource library for future easy access.
3. Click on the 'Learn More' tab to find scientific research and web articles so that you can have informed conversations with your health service providers and have evidence to support each health recommendation.
